Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented UX Designer – Digital Product Experience.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a member of the UX product team, you will work on various projects across applications. In this position, you will collaborate with product managers, product teams, and other relevant teams (such as corporate communications and insights) to understand the requirements of the project and apply UX capabilities while adhering to corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and refinement of user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain comprehensive wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams
- Apply design thinking methodology (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test) to solve complex user experience challenges across Ameren's digital platforms and services
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills by developing effective and well-prioritized solutions using appropriate UX tools and technologies
- Lead collaborative ideation sessions and design workshops with cross-functional teams to generate innovative solutions to user experience challenges
- Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces that align with Ameren's brand standards
- Conduct usability testing and user research to validate design decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Present updates, research outputs, and visuals to product managers, product owner,s and other key stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Design, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline
- Strong background in Human-Centered Design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred) and other UX design tools
- Experience with design thinking methodology (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test)
- Proven ability to create user personas, journey maps, and user scenarios
- Experience developing wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize solutions effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with ability to learn and take on projects independently
- Experience conducting usability testing and user research
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with product managers and cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Experience with additional design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Miro)
- Background in corporate communications or insights research
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics)
- Experience with user analytics tools and data-driven design decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful UX projects across web and mobile platforms
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Understanding of brand guidelines and corporate design standards
Pay: $43.40 – $62.00 /hr.
