What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working within a .NET Core + React stack and have a proven track record in UI, API, and message-driven system testing. This role requires strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and product teams. The candidate should be capable of implementing test strategies from scratch in a greenfield project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues within the application and testing framework.
- Implement CI/CD automation processes using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Document test plans, cases, and results.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs.
- Proficient in .NET Core + React stack.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress (UI testing).
- Experience with Postman or RestAssured (API testing).
- Familiarity with xUnit/NUnit (backend testing).
- Strong CI/CD automation skills (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud environments for development/testing.
- Knowledge of message-driven systems and testing methodologies.
- Previous experience in a greenfield project is a plus.
Pay: $49.00 – $70.00 /hr.
