What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Agile Coach to drive transformation across our portfolio teams and guide leaders, teams, and executives in agile practices. This role will enhance agile maturity, optimize delivery, and foster a business-outcome-focused environment through expert coaching and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and Mentoring:
- Partner with Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and other Agile practitioners to develop and implement comprehensive coaching plans.
- Mentor and coach team members, leaders, and executives on Agile principles, practices, and mindsets.
- Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Agile Transformation:
- Lead and drive Agile transformation initiatives at the portfolio and team levels.
- Develop and execute strategic Agile roadmaps to improve delivery, quality, and business outcomes.
- Assess Agile maturity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Advise leaders on team topologies and organizational structures to optimize value delivery.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
- Leverage metrics and data to measure Agile adoption and impact.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve Agile delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- 5+ years of experience coaching at the portfolio level or higher
- Expert knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Servant leadership mindset
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in IT or related field
- ICAgile certifications (ICP-ACC, ICP-ACF, ICP-BAF)
- CSM certifications (CSM, CSP-SM)
- Experience with AgilityHealth or similar assessment tools
Pay: $70 – $100 /hr.
