What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain software systems used in internal business processes
- Design, document, develop, debug, and test software to provide new system functionality or enhance existing workflows
- Work on both the frontend and backend of C#, React/Node.js based applications
- Develop program logic for new applications and analyze/modify logic in existing applications
- Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications
- Analyze requirements and maintain, test, and integrate application components
- Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented following team coding standards and processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain highly scalable and distributed software systems
- Contribute to object-oriented design using design patterns and MVC technologies
- Work with database technologies including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
- Implement unit tests, integration testing, and test automation
- Participate in code repository management, code merging, and quality checks
- Support continuous integration and automated deployment processes
- Collaborate with remote team members during core business hours (9:00 AM CST to 3:00 PM CST)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5-7+ years of experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, and/or C#.NET development
- Strong object-oriented design experience, including applied use of design patterns and MVC technologies
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar database technologies
- Proven experience designing and/or contributing to highly scalable and distributed software systems
- Experience with unit tests, integration testing, and test automation
- Familiarity with code repository management, code merge processes, and quality checks
- Experience with continuous integration and automated deployment & management using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Ant, Docker, or comparable tools
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience building APIs and related technologies
- Data modeling experience for large-scale databases, both relational and NoSQL (graph, key-value, document, etc.)
- AWS Cloud experience or similar cloud platforms
- Experience working in remote/hybrid team environments
Pay: $82.60 – $118.00 /hr.
