What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in Neo4j to create and manage an API backend that provides graph data for efficient and scalable data management and analysis solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop graph database solutions using Neo4j.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define database architecture.
- Implement data models and schemas optimized for graph traversal and query performance.
- Perform data integration and migration tasks to incorporate various data sources into the graph database.
- Develop and maintain Cypher queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Graph Database Development: Proven experience in developing graph database solutions.
- Neo4j Expertise: Strong expertise in Neo4j and proficiency in the Cypher query language.
- Graph Theory Knowledge: Solid understanding of graph theory and data modeling principles.
- Data Integration Experience: Experience with data integration and migration tasks.
- Performance Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing database performance for scalability.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Other Graph Databases: Experience with other graph databases and related technologies.
- Software Development: Familiarity with software development, especially APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Data Visualization Knowledge: Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
- Cloud Solutions Familiarity: Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
Pay: $63.00 – $90.00 /hr.
