What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer 2 to design, develop, and enhance business-critical tools and solutions. This role involves collaborating with architects, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior team members. You will work on advanced technologies, develop enterprise systems, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance high-complexity software solutions.
- Mentor and guide less senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and ADA standards.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with architects and improve software architecture.
- Analyze and refine software requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of Software Development Experience
- 3+ years of UI Development Experience (CSS3, HTML5, Responsive/Adaptive)
- 2+ years of React JS development experience
- 2+ years of Java development experience
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services
- Experience working in AWS environment
- Experience with Jenkins
- Strong understanding of ADA compliance AA standards
- Experience in a production support environment
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle and end-to-end testing
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with source control management (Bitbucket/GIT)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with SOA, AOP, MVVM architecture, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with production support environments and end-to-end testing.
Pay: $56 – $80 /yr.
