What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer 2 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and impactful solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java, React JS, and other modern technologies.
- Develop, enhance, and deliver business-critical tools and solutions for field/group Rental Operations & Fleet Logistics teams.
- Work within an AWS cloud environment and leverage technologies like Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional Software Development experience
- 3+ years of UI Development experience (CSS3, HTML5, Responsive/Adaptive)
- 2+ years of React JS development experience architecting highly complex enterprise systems
- 2+ years of Java development experience
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services
- Experience working in AWS cloud environment
- Experience with Jenkins
- Strong understanding of ADA compliance AA standards
- Experience in a production support environment
- Proven experience in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with source control management (Git, Bitbucket)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including debugging multi-threaded applications
- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and mentor junior engineers
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with SOA and AOP
- Knowledge of MVVM architecture
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
Pay: $49 – $70 /yr.
