What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer 2 to join our Global Booking Orchestration Department. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting multiple applications in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will use their technical expertise to solve complex business problems, evaluate technology effectiveness, and recommend enhancements. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical proficiency and the ability to understand customer needs, delivering high-quality solutions aligned with expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in Java application development.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design principles and RESTful APIs.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Pay: $49 – $70 /hr.
