What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to oversee SSRS platforms, cloud-based infrastructure, and security platform integration. This role involves report development, platform performance monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and cross-training team members. The Engineer will identify technology improvements through research, testing, and customer feedback to enhance platform effectiveness and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and develop SSRS reports.
- Monitor Azure and SSRS environments for performance and enhancements.
- Manage API integrations and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Address technical issues and ensure platform security compliance.
- Drive platform upgrades, patching, and performance management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience administering SSRS
- Experience developing SSRS reports
- Experience writing SQL
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with API integration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams and business units
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proficient knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu preferred) and command-line scripting
- Proficient knowledge of Azure stack (storage, network, resource configurations, etc.)
- Proficient with Kubernetes administration (AKS preferred)
- Backbone network management Flannel/other
- Expertise in production deployment, integration
- Expertise in production configuration for autoscaling
- Production performance management
- Proficient with PowerShell command line scripting
- Proficient with C# and .NET
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Exposure to Project Management concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Pay: $49.00 – $70.00 /hr.
