What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Senior Software Engineer to join our Web Application development team. This full-stack role involves partnering with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and improve functionality using Agile methodologies. As a key contributor, you will apply your problem-solving skills, integrate applications, and provide leadership in production support. This role requires flexibility and a proactive approach to innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and apply software engineering skills in full stack development on a .NET/C# web platform.
- Utilize independent problem-solving skills to drive solutions and lead efforts in production support
- Integrate purchased applications and maintain existing software
- Participate in activities related to Agile software development methodologies
- Mentor team members and share technical knowledge, best practices, and standard procedures
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders from the business, working closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to deliver value against the roadmap
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6-8 years of software development experience in .NET/C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Experience with Optimizely CMS (formerly EPiServer) & Commerce.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, or GitHub Enterprise.
- Familiarity with Vue.js (or similar JavaScript frameworks).
- Knowledge of microservice architecture.
Additional Requirements:
- 24×7 availability for off-hours support as needed.
- Ability to travel independently for business, vendor meetings, and training, including occasional overnight travel.
Pay: $45.5 – $65 /hr.
