Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing:
Lead the design and creation of software to transform complex scientific datasets. Build and maintain cloud solutions that can massively scale to tens of thousands of concurrent pods
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable cloud-based infrastructure on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Develop high-performance software using general-purpose programming languages
- Optimize relational data models and query patterns for maximum efficiency
- Implement comprehensive unit testing methodologies and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (Go, Java, C#, Python, backend TypeScript, etc.)
- Proven ability to build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining containerized application deployments with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of relational data models (RDBMS/SQL, query patterns & optimization)
- Experience developing and architecting distributed software systems (message queues, scalable compute & storage)
- High level of comfort with Unit Testing and associated methodologies
- Proven experience building and maintaining data-intensive APIs using gRPC
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Go programming language
- Experience with protocol buffers and RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine
- Background working with scientific datasets or quantitative science applications
- Exposure to scientific programming languages (R, Python, Julia)
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of message queue systems and distributed computing patterns
Pay: $77.00 – $110.00 /hr.
