What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) team within Treasury Engineering. The role involves designing, testing, and implementing Java-based web applications on the AWS cloud. You will work within an Agile development team to migrate applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate application business logic using Java.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to migrate applications to AWS cloud services.
- Conduct debugging, bottleneck analysis, and develop robust solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional applications.
- Develop reusable, scalable code adhering to industry best practices.
- Work with shared services teams on integration and data migration.
- Address vulnerabilities and implement security controls.
- Monitor applications using tools like Grafana and manage modern CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in software development.
- Expertise in Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Unix, and shell scripting.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools like Git, Bamboo, and Sonar.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with modern analytics and monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana).
- Familiarity with cloud-native services and Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of application servers such as Apache TOMEE or WebLogic.
- Demonstrated ability to address system vulnerabilities effectively.
Pay: $70 – $100 /yr.
