What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a finance transformation initiative, playing a critical role in optimizing finance operations and managing risk. This position will lead a workstream within the transformation project, ensuring effective collaboration across teams, managing timelines, and providing governance. This is a unique opportunity to be the first hire for the team, with additional roles potentially opening as the budget is finalized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to guide projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate resources within the workstream and maintain effective communication across all levels of the project.
- Organize and lead Global Design workshops, monitor project progress, and present status updates to stakeholders.
- Address project issues, manage risk, and escalate matters to the appropriate governance tier.
- Prepare documentation, manage communication plans, and facilitate decision-making processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of project management experience in a finance or corporate setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading successful finance transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and systems.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Adaptability to pivot as project requirements shift.
- Strategic thinking and collaborative mindset.
- Experience with strategic initiatives, particularly within finance or institutional settings
Pay: $66.50 – $95.00 /hr.
