Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Senior Payroll Specialist.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will manage accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for employees, ensuring strict adherence to federal and state regulations. You will collaborate closely with employees to resolve inquiries and maintain detailed, audit-ready payroll records. Your focus will be on precision and compliance within a dynamic and fast-paced organizational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing, including wage calculations, tax withholdings, and various deductions.
  • Prepare and submit electronic direct deposits and process paper checks accurately.
  • Handle payroll-related garnishment orders and stay updated on payroll-specific compliance regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll transactions with the general ledger and conduct regular payroll audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain meticulous payroll records and documentation.
  • Resolve payroll-related employee inquiries with a high level of professionalism and service.
  • Monitor and apply knowledge of payroll taxation, benefits, and regulatory changes to daily operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in payroll processing, with experience handling wage calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting (preferred) or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and submit electronic direct deposits and paper checks.
  • Familiarity with payroll-related garnishment orders and payroll-specific compliance regulations.
  • Strong skills in reconciling payroll transactions with the general ledger and conducting payroll audits.
  • Experience with payroll record maintenance, documentation, and resolving payroll-related employee inquiries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxation, benefits, and regulatory changes affecting payroll operations.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with payroll software or systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday).
  • Familiarity with payroll-related banking processes and direct deposit setup.
  • Certification or coursework in payroll management or accounting.
  • Experience in multi-state or multi-regional payroll processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within payroll contexts.
  • Attention to detail with high organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle employee inquiries effectively.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment with a focus on compliance.

Pay: $31.50 – $45.00 /hr.
