What You Will Be Doing:
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior IT Service Management Analyst with a strong focus on IT asset management. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring adherence to best practices and global IT processes. You will contribute to the development and implementation of these processes, with a significant emphasis on managing the lifecycle of our IT hardware assets and fostering key vendor relationships. This position also involves guiding and mentoring less senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and disposal.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues related to asset management and governance.
- Collaborate closely with procurement vendors to manage asset acquisition, replacement, and disposal processes.
- Forecast and maintain necessary inventory levels to support IT projects and ongoing business operations.
- Focus on daily operational and tactical asset management activities.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to creatively and effectively resolve a wide range of moderately complex issues.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while independently resolving moderately complex problems and recommending potential solutions.
- Prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to internal teams.
- Assist in the development of departmental standards, processes, and procedures.
- Work independently with minimal instruction on daily tasks and general guidance on new assignments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
- 3+ years of experience specifically with IT asset management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated excellence in building and maintaining relationships across IT departments and with external vendors.
- Strong detail orientation coupled with robust problem-solving and time-management skills.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience in leading or assisting with the development and enhancement of global IT processes and procedures.
- Experience in providing instruction and guidance to team members.
- Advanced understanding of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Experience with specific IT asset management software platforms.
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations to various audiences.
Pay: $33.60 – $48.00 /hr.
