What You Will Be Doing:
As a Senior Project Manager in the IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO), you will be integral to delivering mission-critical projects and technologies that support our business objectives. This role involves working with a diverse range of stakeholders across infrastructure and application development disciplines on projects of varying scope and scale. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior IT leaders while leading complex IT projects that advance our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, guide, coordinate, and monitor activities of project teams involved in the discovery, design, build, and rollout of IT initiatives.
- Collaborate with project sponsors to define project scope and objectives.
- Identify required skills and resources for the project team and develop detailed work plans.
- Provide regular project status updates and anticipate project issues, risks, and dependencies.
- Recommend solutions and work with senior management to implement them.
- Utilize strong leadership skills to manage multiple high-profile programs/projects effectively.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship.
- 5+ years of IT-related project management experience.
- Experience leading teams using Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methodologies.
- Proven ability to deliver on high-profile programs/projects.
- Proficient knowledge of program and project management concepts from planning through implementation and support.
- Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple end-to-end projects.
- Intimate knowledge of full life cycle development.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of analysis techniques and tool usage.
- Capable of overseeing large enterprise efforts and complex strategic projects.
- Ability to perform effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Strong leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits.
- Excellent meeting facilitation and relationship-building skills.
- Proven success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Capable of applying a resource management model to manage portfolio resources and projects.
- Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Program/Project Management experience outside of the current organization is strongly preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Pay: $52.50 – $75 /yr.
