What You Will Be Doing:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a product-oriented agile organization where you will build highly scalable REST APIs and design complex databases. You will be expected to dive deep into the business domain, partnering with product experts to suggest pragmatic solutions and improvements while writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using popular paradigms and local guidelines.
- Build and manage highly scalable REST APIs hosted on cloud environments.
- Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with product experts to understand business domains and provide innovative technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing using tools like Jest and react-testing-library to ensure code reliability.
- Work flexibly with a global team across various time zones to achieve project goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- 10+ years of expert-level experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
- 5+ years of experience with React.js and PostgreSQL.
- 4+ years of experience working with AWS (Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, Kafka, Step Functions).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a product-oriented agile organization.
- Demonstrated proactivity, problem-solving skills, and a team-player mentality.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems like Kafka.
- A strong willingness to learn, innovate, and develop within a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $56.00 – $80.00 /hr.
