What You Will Be Doing:
You will serve as a senior leader in designing and architecting solutions within a complex enterprise IT landscape. Your primary focus will be on managing the migration of critical data from SAP HANA to a Google BigQuery-based data warehouse. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data solutions align with long-term business strategies while maintaining high standards for data security, governance, and quality assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the migration of data from SAP HANA to a cloud-based Crop Science Warehouse and Google Big Query.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement solutions according to business strategy and operational roadmaps.
- Enable and support product supply data needs across systems such as SEEDBIN, Centaurs, Velocity, S4 Hana, and Big Query.
- Integrate modern technologies, including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Big Query, into the supply planning ecosystem.
- Develop expertise and communicate core objectives for internal platforms, ensuring alignment with global roadmaps.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for development and support activities for systems like CTM, DFS, and SPA.
- Perform development and enhancements using technologies such as Hana, Talend, Python, and SQL scripting.
- Lead Azure cloud strategy by handling all activities related to migrating on-premise Talend systems to the Azure Cloud.
- Enable data governance through rigorous data quality assessments and metadata management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a Senior Systems Architect designing solutions in a large-scale enterprise IT landscape.
- 3 years of experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- 3 years of experience with SAP HANA.
- 3-5 years of experience with AWS or Google Big Query.
- 2 years of experience in Data Stewardship, ensuring proprietary data security.
- Proven experience in managing cloud migrations, specifically moving on-premise systems (like Talend) to Azure.
- Technical proficiency in Python, Talend, and Hana development.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3 years of SQL coding experience.
- Subject Matter Expertise in crop optimization and product pre-positioning processes.
- Experience working with S4 Hana and specialized supply planning systems (Velocity, SEEDBIN, etc.).
Pay: $64.40 – $92.00 /hr.
