What You Will Be Doing:
Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives for Clements Fluids. This individual will play a key role in identifying gaps, prioritizing business needs, and delivering actionable insights through advanced analytics, visualizations, and machine-learning models. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders, including the CEO, to create impactful data solutions that support strategic decision-making and sales enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executives to identify data gaps and prioritize business needs.
- Develop and deliver data solutions, including visualizations and reports to support business narratives.
- Create data triggers to alert the sales team based on key business events.
- Implement machine learning models to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.
- Continuously iterate on solutions based on business feedback and evolving needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-7+ years of experience as a Senior Data Scientist.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (Azure preferred).
- Ability to conduct light data engineering tasks.
- Expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and storytelling with data.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with sales data analytics and creating operational data triggers.
- Strong business communication skills.
Pay: $59.50 – $85 /hr.
