What You Will Be Doing:
The primary role of a Senior Business Analyst is to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to facilitate the development of effective and efficient solutions. They play a crucial role in ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team during analysis and design phases.
- Document, track, and manage functional and data requirements with minimal supervision.
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems.
- Plan, organize, and conduct walkthroughs with business units and technical teams to ensure a common understanding of requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to peers as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft.
- Experience in developing business cases and documenting business requirements.
- Strong product management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to uncovering facts and insights.
- Ability to manage requirements and define the overall platform, focusing on technical requirements for user navigation and usage.
- Basic knowledge of financial services; however, strong technical knowledge is essential (e.g., understanding system behavior, interactions, dependencies, and data knowledge).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Relationship management experience.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in developing use cases and test cases.
- Strong mentoring skills and ability to provide technical assistance.
- Proven problem resolution skills.
- Ability to educate and mentor team members effectively.
- Experience working in a global virtual team across multiple time zones.
Pay: $70 – $100 /yr.
