What You Will Be Doing:
The Senior Accountant will be integral to maintaining the financial integrity of the organization through oversight of accounting functions, financial reporting, and operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with management and external auditors to ensure compliance and support strategic financial planning.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience leading month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Skilled in coordinating external audits and addressing audit inquiries.
- Familiarity with tax preparation and regulatory compliance.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- CPA certification or equivalent advanced accounting qualification.
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies in financial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data management.
- Adaptability to evolving regulatory and tax landscapes.
Pay: $34.75 – $49.64 /hr.
