What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing user profiles and system administration across various platforms and applications, ensuring adherence to established security policies and procedures. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the security integrity of our systems through account administration, audit monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform user account and object-level security administration for all platforms and applicable applications, including Active Directory, Exchange, Unix, Oracle, SaaS, Cloud infrastructure, and mobility solutions.
  • Document and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Manage user account administration for IT tier-one projects.
  • Analyze and provision high volumes of security requests promptly.
  • Provide technical support by troubleshooting security issues and resolving or escalating as necessary.
  • Review and monitor audit reports, analyzing for potential security problems and escalating as needed.
  • Maintain and document up-to-date knowledge of security procedures and policies.
  • Incorporate security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of related experience in security administration.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • General IT knowledge and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to safeguard proprietary and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work on small to large, moderately complex assignments.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience with Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Account Administration, AS/400, and Unix account management.
  • Scripting knowledge (VB, PowerShell).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Pay: $30.10 – $43.00 /hr.
