Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Release Manager 1.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Demonstrate knowledge in tools and processes related to new and recurring IT release activities across a broad range of IT functions, including application and infrastructure
- Prepare, execute and close out release activities for simple to moderately complex initiatives, collaborating with team members and deployment sponsors
- Organize assigned activities across applications, teams and/or projects with accountability for dependency management within scope of assigned release components
- Maintain release documentation and archives with keen attention to detail, staying organized and current with future IT maintenance activities
- Partner with team members to understand release plans and ensure adherence to organizational release and change management processes, policies and procedures
- Conduct and participate in post-release reviews to determine process effectiveness and implement improvement measures
- Communicate clearly and timely regarding assigned release components to internal teams and external sponsors
- Track progress and report to internal teams and external sponsors, ensuring documentation accuracy
- Source and coordinate assigned resources throughout various release components
- Collaborate with vendors and/or customers throughout task and activity execution
- Build and analyze supporting material for assigned initiatives, sharing findings with related components
- Incorporate security and compliance in all decisions and daily responsibilities
- Maintain established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with IT release management processes and procedures
- Knowledge of application and infrastructure release activities
- Experience with cloud deployments and basic AWS concepts including blue/green deployments and load balancing
- Familiarity with Jenkins for executing automated pipelines for production releases
- Experience working with Microsoft tools such as Excel
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task with several moving parts and adapt to last-minute changes
- Resilient problem-solving skills for unexpected issues during releases
- Clear and timely communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of change management processes
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in Release Manager or similar role
- Experience with task automation and process improvements
- Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Experience with vendor and customer collaboration
- Background in post-release review facilitation
- Experience with dependency management across multiple projects
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
- Experience with resource coordination and planning
Pay: $32.90 – $47.00 /hr.
