What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead complex IT application development projects. This role requires collaborating with program sponsors and stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives while fostering trusted partnerships. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of managing large-scale transformational projects in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full project life-cycle, from planning through closeout, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, anticipate risks, and resolve issues.
- Manage project resources, delegate tasks effectively, and address skill gaps.
- Communicate status updates, KPIs, and ROI to executive leadership.
- Oversee vendor integration and manage deliverables, escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure quality through audits and lessons-learned reviews.
- Facilitate change requests and maintain adherence to change control guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, transformational IT application development projects.
- Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and concepts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Strong facilitation and relationship management abilities, fostering partnerships with stakeholders and team members.
- Proven ability to manage competing tasks, deadlines, and priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in navigating complex decisions with balanced judgment.
- Reside in or near St. Louis, Missouri, with the ability to work on-site as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Knowledge of data strategy and analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and CI/CD principles.
Pay: $59.50 – $85 /yr.
