What You Will Be Doing:
As a Project Coordinator, you will assist in planning, organizing, and executing project activities, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and documentation to facilitate the successful completion of projects within an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate meetings and develop comprehensive strategies to guide projects from beginning to end
- Take detailed minutes at meetings and maintain accurate records of project discussions and decisions
- Receive, organize, and file project documents systematically for easy retrieval and reference
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestone tracking systems
- Develop and manage responsibility matrices and task assignments for all project team members
- Compile regular project summaries, status reports, and progress updates for stakeholders
- Track and manage critical project documents including purchase orders, budgets, payroll information, and contracts
- Work closely with project managers to ensure all project objectives and deliverables are met on time
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or roadblocks that may impact delivery
- Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, OR equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with document management and filing systems
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Monday.com
- Knowledge of workflow and strategy software applications
- Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating professional presentations
- Experience with budget tracking and financial document management
- Familiarity with procurement processes and purchase order management
- Previous experience working in cross-functional team environments
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or related credentials
- Experience with database management and reporting tools
- Knowledge of agile project management methodologies
- Experience working with remote or hybrid teams
Pay: $23.64 – $33.77 /hr.
