What You Will Be Doing:
This role is centered on market alignment, pricing strategy, and go-to-market clarity, helping the organization scale smartly and serve meaningfully by understanding what the market wants and how to position the product
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Competitive Intelligence: Identify trends, adjacent products, and whitespace opportunities. Benchmark competitors and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations. Inform product roadmap prioritization based on market needs.
- Pricing & Packaging Strategy: Evaluate pricing models and recommend structures that align with customer value. Explore bundling, tiering, and licensing options. Support custom deal structuring for enterprise or partner opportunities.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Identify relevant conferences, events, and communities for visibility and learning. Recommend speaking, sponsorship, or networking opportunities. Collaborate with marketing on messaging and positioning.
- Product Roadmap Alignment: Partner with technical leads to align business priorities with feature development. Advocate for enhancements that drive adoption, retention, or differentiation. Maintain a clear view of what’s next and why it matters.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate market insights into clear priorities for leadership and product teams. Support investor or partner conversations with data-backed rationale. Stay nimble and responsive as strategy evolves.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product strategy, product marketing, business strategy, or related field.
- Strong market research and competitive analysis abilities.
- Demonstrated skill in pricing strategy and packaging design.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and leadership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex insights.
- Ability to translate data and trends into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on value, positioning, and growth.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with enterprise or SaaS product environments.
- Familiarity with go-to-market planning, event strategy, and visibility mapping.
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving business environments.
- Ability to create frameworks, messaging outlines, and strategic briefs.
- Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and partners.
Pay: $70.00 – $100.00 /hr.
