What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Product Owner II to join our Marketing Technology (MarTech) team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the vision and strategy for customer data platforms (CDPs), cross-ecosystem data integrations, and enabling activation capabilities for digital media and marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technologies align with business objectives and marketing goals, and lead development efforts from inception to successful delivery.
As the Product Owner II, you will work with Marketing Technology, Digital Products, Digital Marketing, and IT teams to drive the planning, development, and implementation of assigned technologies. You will manage technology roadmaps, optimize systems, and monitor performance to ensure that high-value solutions are delivered in alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing Technology, Digital Products, Digital Marketing, IT teams, and third-party vendors to understand business needs and execute the vision for campaign activation platforms.
- Manage and oversee the implementation and development of assigned technologies, including planning, refinement, user acceptance testing, retrospectives, sprints, and scrums.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps to ensure alignment with marketing and business objectives.
- Create and prioritize the system optimization backlog based on marketing and business goals.
- Lead agile development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-value, well-aligned solutions.
- Elaboration of epics, themes, user stories, and evaluation of progress at the end of each sprint.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring technology solutions meet business objectives.
- Provide subject matter expertise, ensuring marketing and business users are trained, supported, and enabled on the technologies.
- Assist with feature acceptance criteria, test planning, and end-to-end testing to support internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to evaluate system performance and resolve issues.
- Manage the implementation of projects to ensure successful launches, integrations, and releases within budget and timeline constraints.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Technology Owner, Product Owner, Technical Project Manager, or Business Analyst.
- Experience in managing the development and lifecycle of technology products and solutions.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, user stories, and retrospectives.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to monitor key performance indicators and analyze system performance for continuous improvement.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with data activation for digital media and marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, and data modeling.
- Experience working with or integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDP), such as Adobe Experience Platform (RT-CDP), or Data Management Platforms (DMP).
- Familiarity with enabling data-driven multi-channel marketing campaigns, advertising, or communications.
- Experience in an Agile work environment, including sprint planning and backlog management.
Pay: $37.10 – $53 /yr.
