Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Portfolio Manager II.

What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Manager II to join our newly established Center for Health AI, a collaborative initiative focused on revolutionizing healthcare through cutting-edge artificial intelligence. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Chief Data Scientist and Executive Director in executing the center's strategic vision, driving innovation in personalized and efficient healthcare. You will be actively involved in quality improvement, research, and evaluation projects, including clinical trials.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid position with a regular on-site presence at the medical school campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief Data Scientist in executing the strategic needs of the Center for Health AI.
  • Manage the research, education, and service line portfolio, including external drivers for change.
  • Ensure project progress is tracked and documented in alignment with institutional and center strategies.
  • Collaborate with business relationship managers, technology groups, and project managers to prioritize and initiate projects.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and escalate project issues with portfolio-level impacts.
  • Drive and develop long-term portfolio strategy and solution options throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist with complex scoping efforts and engage resources during planning phases.
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide insight, guidance, prioritization, and sequencing assistance.
  • Coordinate with leadership to define the long-term roadmap for research, education, and services.
  • Assist in initial high-level architecture discussions and strategy definition.
  • Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and/or expense budgets.
  • Ensure productivity and actions meet/support operational goals.
  • Communicate rationale for change and articulate risks and impacts.
  • Manage quality improvement (QI) and research/evaluation projects, including trials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five to seven years of demonstrated experience in healthcare, university, industry, or academic medical centers.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage highly iterative and constantly changing requirements.
  • Experience in project tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Experience in portfolio management.
  • Ability to drive and develop long-term strategy.
  • Ability to manage complex projects.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Healthcare and research experience.
  • Experience with clinical trials and their management processes.
  • Experience with AI applications in healthcare.
  • Experience with Quality Improvement (QI) projects.

Pay: $70.00 – $100.00 /hr.
