What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to support our product development and sensory lab. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about science.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments and trials
- Prepare samples for sensory evaluation and pilot plant trials
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation
- Analyze intermediate samples and set up analytical and microbiological analysis requests
- Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment
- Arrange shipment of samples and materials
- Maintain Excel and Word data files
- Comply with quality management systems and company policies
Required Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Science coursework
- Experience in a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Proficiency in laboratory equipment and techniques
Pay: $13.30 – $19 /hr.
