What You Will Be Doing:
You will use your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve complex business problems. You will serve as a subject matter expert, designing and developing prototypes and performing complicated application coding. You will interpret end-user business requirements to create technical design specifications for both off-the-shelf and custom-developed applications. Additionally, you will analyze software requirements for feasibility, perform unit and integration testing, and provide guidance and mentoring to less senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, research, and investigation.
- Design and develop prototypes and perform complex application programming.
- Modify technical design specifications in accordance with business requirements.
- Conduct unit and integration testing and assist in developing unit test scripts.
- Ensure solutions align with customer expectations and quality standards.
- Review software designs within time and cost restraints.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficient knowledge of Java & J2EE (including JSP, EJB, JDBC, SQL, XML, HTML) and extensive experience with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, EC2, API Gateway, and S3).
- Strong experience with MVC Frameworks (Struts 1/2 and/or Spring MVC), Hibernate, and Spring.
- Proficient in object-oriented application development principles and J2EE design patterns.
- Experience with Microservices using Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS, jQuery, & Node.js).
- Experience with database environments such as Oracle, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
- Proficiency with version control (Git), IntelliJ, JUnit, and Log4j.
- Experience with UML diagramming and front-end prototype design.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with MuleSoft or Mule ESB.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Toolset (Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials or an accounting background.
- Understanding of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
- Experience working in an Agile, Kanban, or Scrum development process.
Pay: $52.50 – $75.00 /hr.
