What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide support for laptops, desktops, rugged laptops, and iPads. This role involves hardware break/fix, software support, device installation, and lifecycle replacement for both office and mobile devices. The specialist will also handle deployment, enrollment, and cellular activation for mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hardware break/fix and software support for laptops, desktops, rugged laptops, and iPads.
- Perform device installation and lifecycle replacement.
- Deploy, enroll, and activate cellular service for mobile devices (iPhones and iPads).
- Perform device imaging and re-imaging to resolve technical issues.
- Manage inventory for spare equipment.
- Provide technical support for training classes held on-site.
- Offer day-after support for major application releases and updates.
- Travel to and support multiple office buildings within a 1-2 hour radius.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Experience with device imaging and re-imaging.
- Experience with mobile device deployment, enrollment, and cellular activation.
- Ability to manage equipment inventory.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with ruggedized laptops.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) systems.
- Experience providing technical support for training sessions.
- Experience supporting application releases and updates.
- A+ Certification or other relevant technical certifications.
- Experience with basic networking principles.
Pay: $20.30 – $29.00 /hr.
