What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking an IT Program Analyst (Contractor) for our IT Communications and Security Awareness team. This team manages the organization's security awareness phishing campaigns, marketing efforts, education, and support materials. This exciting role focuses on supporting, operationalizing, and advancing the organization's critical phishing awareness program and related metrics, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, operationalize, and advance the organization's phishing awareness program and related metrics.
  • Manage and advance ongoing reporting and data analysis, including creating compelling visualizations and storytelling around phishing data for executive leadership (CISO, CIO, CEO).
  • Identify and analyze organizational needs to reduce overall cyber risk and promote secure human behavior.
  • Monitor program metrics to ensure objectives and compliance with industry regulations/standards are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams and manage relationships with external third-party vendors, including participation in vendor evaluation and selection.
  • Focus on operational and tactical activities supporting the overall Security Awareness strategy.
  • Represent the team in internal and external meetings.
  • Research, utilize, evaluate, and modify external vendor materials.
  • Leverage the latest trends, approaches, and technologies in phishing and security awareness.
  • Troubleshoot program issues and suggest resolutions.
  • Perform task automation and recommend process improvements for increased quality and service.
  • Actively manage program timelines, deadlines, and milestones, adjusting leadership expectations as needed.
  • Maintain established service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
  • 2+ years of related professional experience.
  • Prior experience administering and contributing to an IT Security Awareness program.
  • Proficiency with data analysis using Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, graph creation).
  • Demonstrated experience transforming data analysis into visual storytelling suitable for leadership audiences.
  • Professional experience and a general understanding of cybersecurity and information technology practices.
  • Experience in planning projects, coordinating activities, and effectively communicating project status.
  • Experience contributing to the development of team standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to handle information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong commitment to security and compliance principles.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or a related field.
  • Experience managing vendors effectively, particularly aligning performance with Statement of Work (SOW) expectations.
  • Experience operationalizing large, complex, and time-bound programs.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various IT teams, business units, and external vendors.

Pay: $31.50 – $45.00 /hr.
