What You Will Be Doing:

As an IT Engineer II, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting critical components of our desktop environment, including virtual desktop infrastructure, client-based Windows operating systems, and associated applications. You will work closely with various engineering, application, and business teams to improve processes and procedures, and lead incident and problem resolution within our enterprise-class systems architecture. This position requires a strong understanding of endpoint technologies, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage multi-subscription/multi-region Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.

Configure and optimize AVD infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and performance.

Monitor and troubleshoot AVD deployments, addressing issues promptly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AVD solutions with other IT systems.

Develop and maintain documentation for AVD configurations, processes, and procedures.

Maintain and support components of the desktop environment, including virtual desktop infrastructure and client-based Windows operating systems.

Participate in incident and problem resolution for enterprise-class systems.

Collaborate with engineering, application, and business teams to improve processes and procedures.

Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation.

Make recommendations for improvements to increase quality and effectiveness.

Listen to and evaluate customer needs to provide high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Proven experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and related technologies.
-
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, and Microsoft Intune.

Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, including networking, storage, dynamic scaling, and security.
-
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is strongly preferred.

Experience with Terraform is preferred.
-
Experience with Nerdio is preferred.
-
Experience with ControlUp or similar tools is preferred.
-
Experience with Windows 365 (W365) is preferred.
Desired Skills & Experience:
-
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-140, AZ-104) are a plus.

Familiarity with enterprise-class systems architecture.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and projects.
Pay: $51.10 – $73 /yr.
