What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Specialist to join our Asset Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, licensing, renewals, and disposal. You will ensure that IT assets are in compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements, supporting financial, inventory, and risk management processes.
As an IT Asset Specialist 1, you will collaborate with multiple departments, provide ad hoc reporting, and support internal initiatives and projects. Effective communication and teamwork with internal teams and external vendors will be crucial to your success.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in IT asset management, including software and hardware lifecycle management.
- Understanding of software licensing and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of financial and inventory management practices related to IT assets.
- Ability to track and manage the deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in reporting and documentation related to asset management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with asset management software tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software solutions.
- Familiarity with risk management in the context of IT assets.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and handle renewals/contract negotiations.
- Project management experience related to asset management initiatives.
Pay: $26.60 – $38 /yr.
