What You Will Be Doing:
The Infrastructure team supports various web-based software environments comprising multiple applications and technologies. You will play a key role in providing consistent uptime for Non-Production and Production environments, directly influencing the development and use of applications for partners and technical teams. Specific work includes patching and upgrading current infrastructure, maintaining certificates for trading partners, implementing database changes, enhancing existing systems, and providing restorative services to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in large-scale upgrade efforts, such as operating system and hardware upgrades.
- Help plan and implement new technologies, including migrating applications to the cloud.
- Review and address security vulnerabilities at the server and backend levels.
- Support backend processes, including build and deployment systems and code repositories.
- Monitor system health, including CPU, Memory, I/O, and space management.
- Collaborate with other platform teams, including Unix, Linux, Windows, Performance Management, and Dev Tools.
- Manage recurring processes such as password maintenance on system IDs and updating security certificates.
- Maintain hardware by setting up new servers/environments and decommissioning old ones.
- Assist with implementing automation tasks within Solution Support and throughout the department.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with AWS, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- 3+ years of overall related professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- 1+ years of experience reading and writing scripts in languages such as Perl, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, or Shell.
- 1+ years of experience working with Terraform in cloud environments.
- Experience with Jenkins and Git.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Azure and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with WebLogic and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or status as a Splunk Power User.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Practical application knowledge of Unix.
Pay: $49.00 – $70.00 /hr.
