What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to create visual communications that convey messages effectively and aesthetically. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in utilizing technology to produce high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
- Create materials by hand or using computer software programs.
- Meet with clients to understand their vision and requirements for proposed communications.
- Incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone.
- Select type size and style to enhance text readability and visual appeal.
- Produce drafts for client review and make revisions based on feedback.
- Review final productions for errors and ensure compliance with client specifications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Extensive experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant software.
- Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Client Interaction: Experience in meeting with clients to discuss design needs and preferences.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate drafts and final designs with minimal errors.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Web Design: Experience in designing for digital platforms, including websites and social media graphics.
- Illustration Skills: Ability to create custom illustrations to enhance design projects.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: $41.30 – $59.00 /hr.
