What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Engineer 2 – Security to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from your home residence in one of our approved states. As part of our vision to be a leading mobility company, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing security solutions that protect our extensive fleet management operations across the US and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain information security solutions to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT, project management, and architects to deliver secure solutions.
- Review project and process plans to ensure appropriate security measures are integrated based on organizational risk appetite.
- Consult with teams to ensure data is handled securely throughout the environment.
- Ensure security controls are implemented and maintained effectively.
- Assist in building new policies, standards, and procedures to protect the organization's environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a highly technical IT role.
- Experience configuring and administering security solutions and processes.
- Proven ability to build relationships and partner with technical staff to solve problems collaboratively.
- Experience with security tools such as network scanners, monitoring tools, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of risk and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SANS).
- Ability to write technical reports and communicate complex technical content to non-technical audiences.
- Mature understanding of cloud security concepts.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years managing a SIEM (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk).
- Experience in incident response and triage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel KQL and the Microsoft Defender suite.
- Experience with Azure Conditional Access policies and PAM solutions.
- Industry security certifications are a plus.
- Experience with IAM technologies and AWS/Azure security configuration.
Pay: $94,500.00 – $135,000.00 /yr.
