What You Will Be Doing:
As an Engineer 2 on our Marketing DevOps team, you will use your technical expertise to solve complex business problems and serve as a subject matter expert for your department. You will evaluate technology effectiveness through rigorous requirements gathering, testing, and research to recommend improvements that drive quality. You will be responsible for listening to customer needs and providing high-quality, aligned solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain AWS and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD automation methodologies.
- Identify and implement changes to maximize team efficiency and ensure products meet non-functional requirements such as security, compliance, performance, and cost.
- Evaluate elements of technology effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage end-to-end application platforms, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Java-based backend services and Node.js frontend applications.
- Quickly triage technical problems, determine root causes, and drive resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of related professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Groovy, Linux Shell (Bash), and Python.
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform/HCL) and open-source automation tools like Chef.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, CloudFront, S3, Route53, etc.).
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience deploying Java-based services (Spring Boot, Tomcat) and Node.js/TypeScript applications.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or a related field.
- AWS Cloud Certifications.
- An automation mindset focused on creating repeatable, efficient processes.
- General understanding of Network DNS, firewalls, routing, Imperva, Akamai, and certificate management.
Pay: $42.70 – $61.00 / hr.
