What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled Engineer 2 to deliver technical solutions that address business challenges. This role involves evaluating technology effectiveness, designing configurations, maintaining Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence), and providing high-quality solutions tailored to user needs. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring security considerations and operational excellence throughout the solution lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and customize Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools.
- Configure workflows, fields, and permission schemes.
- Automate tasks and generate actionable insights from Jira/Confluence data.
- Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and user support.
- Gather requirements from users and recommend optimized solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of combined infrastructure engineering experience.
- Expertise in Jira workflows, field configurations, customizations, and access management.
- Proficiency with Jira automation and report generation.
- Strong communication and requirement-gathering skills.
- Must incorporate security in daily tasks.
- U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow.
- Experience with Atlassian app and plugin assessments.
Pay: $49 – $70 /yr.
