What You Will Be Doing:
We’re seeking an Electrical & Automation Engineer with strong project management skills to drive hands-on electrical and automation solutions while overseeing vendor work and adhering to industry standards. This role requires a versatile engineer who can navigate technical work and project management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Develop scope, timelines, and milestones for automation projects, review bids, and ensure adherence to standards.
- Electrical Design: AutoCAD is used to create electrical and pneumatic schematics, BOMs, and process control descriptions, and PLC programs are designed in Rockwell Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA.
- HMI/SCADA Development: Create intuitive HMI screens and SCADA simulations, collaborating with operations for user-friendly controls.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate project objectives, support integration, and create SOPs for streamlined processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years in electrical or automation engineering
- 1+ years in SCADA/HMI programming and PLC programming with Studio 5000
- CAD proficiency (AutoCAD or equivalent)
- Knowledge of OSHA and UL standards
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Wonderware software
- Food or beverage industry experience
Pay: $66.50 – $95 /hr.
