What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Digitization Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our digital document management systems, primarily utilizing SharePoint Online. You will play a crucial role in content migration, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing expert consultation to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer SharePoint Online sites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Execute content migration processes using ShareGate and PowerShell scripting.
- Utilize SFTP and WinSCP for secure file transfers.
- Monitor and manage automated workflows using AutoSys Workload Automation.
- Calculate and verify page count totals using Excel, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with project vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Document technical processes and procedures, creating clear and concise documentation for internal and external use.
- Conduct regular meetings with vendors, project management, and customers, providing technical expertise and updates.
- Consult with end-users on SharePoint Online site design, permissions, and functionality, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration errors and issues, working closely with vendor support as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Extensive experience with ShareGate for content migration.
- Strong understanding of SFTP and WinSCP for secure file transfers.
- Familiarity with AutoSys Workload Automation.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online Administration and Site Design (site permissions, metadata column creation, column settings, document library views, navigation, etc.).
- Experience with Windows servers.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage meticulous, multi-step processes.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting technical issues and working with vendor support.
- Experience in documenting technical processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online features and functionalities.
- Experience with advanced Excel functions and data analysis.
- Experience in project management or coordination.
- Experience with other cloud-based document management systems.
- Experience with other workload automation tools.
Pay: $49.00 – $70.00 /hr.
