What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Digitalization Support Analyst to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This role is crucial in supporting our organization's digital initiatives by providing hands-on technical assistance, maintaining digital tools, and contributing to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies. This position offers a flexible schedule that is well-suited for a current college student or individual seeking supplementary part-time work, mirroring the availability of the contractor being backfilled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the deployment and troubleshooting of hardware and software tools utilized within the organization.
- Ensure the operational readiness and content updates for specialized equipment like VR rooms and office digital screens.
- Assist with the technical evaluation and assessment of new software solutions.
- Contribute technical skills where needed, potentially including basic coding, AI tool interaction, and general IT support.
- Support the creation and maintenance of reports using various platforms such as Power BI, Safety Net, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Assist with API integrations between different software tools (e.g., connecting Autodesk ACC with AI tools like MyGenAssist).
- Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation and manuals for digital tools and processes.
- Generate reports on digital tool usage, providing insights for improvement and effectiveness.
- Support IT security review processes (such as BEAT/CAMP assessments) for new and existing software/hardware.
- Provide general IT assistance and support to team members as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to both hardware and software.
- Experience or familiarity with generating reports using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI or similar).
- Strong ability to create clear and concise technical documentation and user guides.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time schedule.
- Basic understanding of general IT concepts and digital tools.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with API integrations or a foundational understanding of how APIs work.
- Basic coding or scripting knowledge.
- Familiarity with AI concepts or specific AI tools.
- Experience supporting or managing VR hardware/software or digital signage.
- Direct experience with platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Safety Net, or MyGenAssist.
- Understanding of IT security principles and assessment processes.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
Pay: $39.90 – $57.00 /hr.
