What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a talented Developer to support our reporting platforms through the development of visualization and in-house solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in development and business insights to enable customized reporting solutions and effective problem-solving while providing support in DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence and implement an end-to-end vision for presenting production data within an analysis platform built in Python.
- Build and deploy datasets based on user requirements for visualization and reporting across multiple platforms, ensuring quality and relational integrity.
- Provide clear lineage documentation of data used within visualizations.
- Support the team in building a solid deployment infrastructure with a focus on DevOps practices.
- Assist in managing sprint schedules, assigning support tickets, and tracking bugs.
- Collaborate with engineers and PCIT developers to create data reports, gathering requirements and investigating needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in software development and reporting solutions.
- Proficient in Python and Django frameworks.
- Experience with Java and SQL, including MSSQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and relational integrity.
- Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and deployment process flow concepts.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and technologies.
- Experience in QA and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client-facing interactions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of data governance concepts and implementation.
- Experience with Denodo or data virtualization.
- Proficiency in Tableau Server/Desktop/Prep setup and dashboard building.
- Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong initiative and results-oriented mindset, able to work independently with minimal direction.
Pay: $57.40 – $82.00 /hr.
