Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Database Administrator.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will take on a hybrid DBA role that blends database administration, system operations, light architecture, and cross-functional coordination. You’ll support a large-scale enterprise environment with thousands of SQL Server instances and mission-critical healthcare systems, ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability in a 24/7 operational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain database health through proactive monitoring, telemetry analysis, backups, high availability (HA) configuration, and performance tuning.
- Manage and support SQL Server environments alongside AIX/Unix-based systems running InterSystems Caché.
- Respond to incidents and service requests within SLA, owning issues end-to-end and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
- Collaborate directly with business units to provision new databases, optimize performance, and deliver data solutions.
- Partner with security teams on audits, compliance, and access controls.
- Align with data governance teams to enforce enterprise data standards and best practices.
- Coordinate across infrastructure teams (network, OS, storage, backup) to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting mission-critical systems.
- Troubleshoot and triage complex issues under pressure, identifying root causes and escalating appropriately.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix/AIX systems, including bash scripting and log analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across database and infrastructure layers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven and proactive, with strong time management and decision-making capabilities.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience in healthcare or hospital IT environments.
- Exposure to Epic systems and/or InterSystems Caché.
- Familiarity with SQL Server technologies such as Always On, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve workflow and productivity.
Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 /hr.
