What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a Data Steward responsible for analyzing datasets across multiple data warehouses, including GCP, Azure, and SAP BW platforms. This role ensures the quality and integrity of organizational data while working closely with cross-functional teams to establish Data Stewardship activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data models in SAP BW to derive business insights.
- Validate Azure Lakehouse database views and create data integration mapping specifications.
- Ensure compliance with Crop Science warehouse data governance guidelines.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Assist in development, perform data validations, and support production deployments in GCP.
- Prepare business test scenarios and UAT test cases.
- Support development, platform, and UAT teams on requirement clarification.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and database best practices.
- Utilize SQL expertise to perform data validation tasks in GCP.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 4-6 years of experience with SAP BW and GCP BigQuery.
- Proficiency in data analysis and data profiling techniques.
- Strong understanding of data quality management concepts and tools.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation tasks.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with data warehouse platforms, such as Azure and SAP BW.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work in a structured manner.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $59.50 – $85.00 /hr.
