What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a Data & Process Governance Specialist to support and enhance data governance policies, standards, and workflows for data utilization and access. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business insight, and technical expertise to optimize workflows, data processing, and visualizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data flow and reporting solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing and implementing Data and Process Governance Policies and Standards.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and reporting solutions that meet the needs of engineers, PCIT developers, and end-users.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to define, document, and implement efficient business processes and data workflows.
- Integrate industrial automation data, MIS, and data warehouse systems to create a holistic view of production operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain data access management procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through effective data modeling and ETL processes.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in data governance, visualization, and management technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data governance concepts and implementation best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MSSQL).
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; associate’s degree with relevant experience acceptable.
- Familiarity with Denodo/data virtualization.
- Experience with Python.
- Knowledge of deployment process flow concepts and change management.
Pay: $61.60 – $88 /yr.
