What You Will Be Doing:
You will join the Applications Development team to support organizational growth by utilizing your IT data expertise to analyze gaps and build tools that support operations teams. This role requires a deadline-driven and innovative professional to develop processes and procedures that drive department efficiency.
Location Note: This is a 3-month Contract-to-Hire position. There is a strong preference for candidates local to St. Louis. Candidates residing in Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Chicago/Lockport, Houston, Lansing, Memphis, or San Antonio must be willing to work in the office at least three days per week for the first 60 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data models, analytics frameworks, and reporting structures to support long-term business goals.
- Define and enforce data standards, best practices, and governance across the analytics function.
- Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to influence data architecture and pipeline development.
- Conduct sophisticated statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and experimentation, such as A/B tests and cohort analysis.
- Enforce safety expectations, aiming for ZERO incidents 100% of the time.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-7+ years of IT data and analytics experience.
- Expert proficiency with SQL, Python, or R.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Expert understanding of statistical concepts, relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Associate-level certification on a modern data platform.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team to meet project goals.
Pay: $49.00 – $70.00 /hr.
