What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our data platforms through analysis and investigation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mindset in business insights and have a robust analytics background to enable effective data visualizations and problem-solving. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the technical foundation of our data systems while transforming business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence and implement an end-to-end vision for presenting production data within an analysis platform.
- Investigate short-term problems and long-term data needs, presenting findings clearly while demonstrating strong skills in Python and SQL.
- Partner with Supply Chain to define, document, implement, and maintain business processes and data workflows.
- Develop data visualizations and drive reporting solutions based on feedback from engineers, PCIT developers, and end users.
- Recommend visualization platforms for reports based on requirements, platform capabilities, and best fit.
- Collaborate with engineers and PCIT developers to create data reports for business, gathering requirements and investigating needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in data analytics and governance.
- Proficient in SQL, MSSQL, and Python.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and relational integrity.
- Experience with ETL processes and various technologies.
- Familiarity with Denodo or data virtualization.
- Knowledge of Tableau Server/Desktop/Prep setup and dashboard building.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client-facing interactions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledgeable in change management and data historian/time series data.
- Strong initiative and results-oriented mindset, able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to see differing perspectives and work cross-functionally.
Pay: $52.50 – $75.00 /hr.
