What You Will Be Doing:
The primary role of a Business Analyst is to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to facilitate the development of effective and efficient solutions. They play a crucial role in ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to facilitate the development of effective and efficient solutions
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as primary liaison between Business Users and Technical teams in analysis and design phases
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems implementation
- Documentation & Tracking: Document, track, and work on Functional and Data requirements with minimal supervision
- Facilitation & Communication: Plan, organize, and conduct walkthroughs with Business Units and Technical teams for common understanding and sign-off
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to peers and mentoring, where applicable
- Platform Management: Manage requirements and definition of the overall platform, maintaining focus on technical requirements for successful user navigation
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other platform teams to drive issue analysis, resolution, and project execution throughout the SDLC
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated individual who digs deep to uncover facts rather than relying on assumptions
- Assertive personality capable of pushing and facilitating requirements discussions with minimal supervision
- Technical knowledge, including the ability to understand system behavior, interaction, and dependencies
- Data knowledge and analysis capabilities
- Experience with Oracle SQL, Dovetail, and EnjoyHQ
- Ability to work in global virtual teams across multiple time zones
- Flexibility and high adaptability in dynamic environments
- Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Commitment to delivering projects on time
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Basic Financial Services knowledge
- Experience working with ScrumMasters, Product Owners, and Project Managers
- SDLC process experience from initiation through execution
- Requirements analysis and documentation expertise
- Business process improvement experience
- Mentoring and peer education experience
- Cross-platform team collaboration experience
- Agile methodology familiarity
- Stakeholder management experience
- Technical writing and documentation skills
Pay: $39.90 – $57.00 /hr.
