What You Will Be Doing:

The Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and achieving both short- and long-term brand objectives and strategies for the assigned consumer health business. This role drives financial performance, builds brand equity, and leads cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of integrated, impactful marketing programs.

Success in this position requires strategic consumer insight, strong analytical and data interpretation skills, and the ability to inspire purposeful, creative, and cross-functional collaboration. The Brand Manager will embody core competencies of leadership, accountability, innovation, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and direct the development and implementation of the brand's marketing plans and budget, along with long-term financial plans, to achieve volume, profit, and spending objectives for the category.
  • Oversee the execution of brand strategies to meet top-line sales goals and bottom-line profit goals.

  • Partner with Innovation Directors and Managers to develop and execute a 3-5 year NPD (New Product Development) strategy to support overall brand objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct (if applicable) and indirect reports/junior Marketing staff and cross-functional peers, ensuring clear standards of performance.
  • Determine resource allocations across the brand to optimize performance and anticipate risks, developing contingency plans to manage them.
  • Lead multiple external partners and consultants to produce consumer and professional communication strategies aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams (R&D, Technical Operations, Market Research, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, etc.) to execute brand initiatives and ensure the brand strategy is understood and implemented.
  • Support strategic brand plans that deliver on annual and longer-term financial objectives while protecting brand equity and enhancing brand health.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA degree with 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)/healthcare environment.
  • Excellent Financial and Operational Acumen, including strong financial management skills to objectively assess programs and investments versus results.
  • Proven ability to streamline operational processes and drive efficiency, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Superior Analytical Acumen, with the ability to assess different models, outputs, and complex technical information.
  • Experience in Marketing Brand Building, with excellent communication and the ability to create an environment that encourages innovation and risk-taking.
  • P&L Management experience, taking activist ownership of the bottom line, and owning Line of Business (L.O.B.) budgets and results.
  • Strong strategic management, planning, and execution abilities, focusing on the “bigger picture.”
  • Competencies in action-oriented/driving results, collaborating locally and globally, planning and aligning, and driving stakeholder engagement.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • MBA degree with 3 years of experience in a similar or related role, ideally in a CPG/healthcare environment.
  • Experience with business forecasting.
  • Competencies in building effective teams, cultivating innovation, learning and change agility, customer focus, and effectively managing suppliers.

Pay: $84.00 – $120.00 /hr.
